Does the TPDI measure total market share?
No. The index measures observable digital structure at the time of analysis. It does not represent total revenue, full inventory, or private agreements.
What does "visibility" mean?
Visibility refers to the most prominent digital results observed for a defined market query. It reflects attention distribution, not overall business performance.
What is a booking signal?
A booking signal refers to how a transaction is finalized online: integrated direct booking systems, platform-based checkout, hybrid booking presence, contact-based booking (email, phone, messaging), or no detectable booking infrastructure. Classification is based on observable technical structure.
How is commission exposure estimated?
Commission exposure is estimated using commonly observed commission ranges in the tourism sector. The estimate illustrates structural routing through intermediary infrastructure. It does not represent verified financial data.
How often is the TPDI updated?
